Working in Brazil
Many expats enjoy the fascinating culture and tropical climate in Brazil but what about the working lifestyle? In Brazil, there’s actually a lot of competition for work and many people have difficulties finding jobs.
As far as work visas go, you cannot actually get one if you don’t already have a job. If you would like to request a work visa, you need to contact the Brazilian Consulate. This application needs to be submitted in person and you need to arrange an appointment prior to going.

Working in the USA
Because there are so many jobs in the USA, the country is often referred to as “The Land of Opportunity”. While these employment opportunities may appeal to some, others may not enjoy the intense work environment.

This is because many companies are downsizing and Americans who are looking for work are grabbing office jobs as soon as they arise. This means that as an expat, you should make sure that you have work lined up before you venture to the US.
If you are able to secure a job in the US, make sure to be polite and respectful towards workmates and management. Kindness and respect goes a long way in every business.
